Thrive's Community Partners Recognized at Open House

During Thrive Behavioral Health open house Wednesday awards were presented to donors, grantors and artists who have helped make renovation of the former Kent Center and the renaming of the organization possible. The event featured comments from Andy Moffit, First Gentleman of Rhode Island, Warwick Mayor Joseph Solomon, Karen Morra, a member of Hillsgrove House, a Thrive program, and Joe Malaga, a participant in the healthy transitions program. Seen here with Thrive president and CEO Dan Kubas-Meyer (at right) are award recipients Fred Reinhardt, president and CEO of Greenwood Credit Union, a major contributor; Scott Seaback, who represented the Warwick Rotary Club, recipient of the Community Champion Award for multiple Rotary grants; Wendy Ingram of the Art Connection; Anthony Bucci Jr. for a donation enabling the purchase of supplies for art therapy and Rep. David Bennett for his legislative efforts dealing with the opioid crisis. Rep. Evan Shanley, who was unable to attend, was also recognized for his efforts in securing a Thrive legislative grant.
