Thrive's CCBHC Birthday Benefit was a Success!
Rhode Island’s leading provider of comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder services and one of the state’s eight Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs), marked a major milestone on Thursday, October 23, celebrating its first year as one of Rhode Island’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) with an evening of reflection, recognition, and renewal at the historic Aldrich Mansion in Warwick.
The sold-out event drew hundreds of community members, partners, and supporters to honor Thrive’s progress since becoming a CCBHC last fall. The evening raised $40,000 to sustain and expand critical mental health and substance use disorder programs for Kent County’s most vulnerable residents.
We’re thrilled to honor our inspiring community partners who helped us along the way with the following awards:
Partner in Progress: Enterprise Mobility
Champion for Change: Newport Restaurant Group
Together we Thrive: Chief Varone and the West Warwick Fire Department
T.H.R.I.V.E. Staff Awards: Presented to recipient live
Thrive’s transformation under the CCBHC model has led to faster access to care, more personalized recovery plans, and a measurable reduction in the strain on hospitals and first responders. Over the past year alone, thousands of Rhode Islanders have accessed counseling, crisis intervention, and recovery support through Thrive’s programs.
Community sponsors included BankNewport, Capital Wealth Management, Centreville Bank, Community Care Alliance, Dominion Diagnostics, Greenwood Credit Union, Half Street Group, Navigant Credit Union, Newport Mental Health, Newport Restaurant Group, Provider Group, and Tides Family Services.
