On Thursday, April 25 Thrive Behavioral Health joins the Mentla Health Association of Rhode Island in kicking off May is Mental Health Month. The annual event, which takes place at the Rhode Island State House, starts at 12pm, with resource tables open at 11:30AM.
THis year's theme is "A Healthy Space in Every Place: Family, Community, Workplace, School." Join us in proclaiming May is Mental Health Month in Rhode Island. Barbara Morse Silva of WJAR 10 will moderate the event and testimonials will be given by individuals living with mental illness. "Legislators of the Year Awards" and "Mental Health Hero Award" will be presented. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served after the event.
