On Wednesday, May 15, 2019 the Interfaith Counseling Center will host a presentation entitled "Creating a Trauma Sensitive Community". This presentation explores major concepts underlying a trauma informed approach to a caring community. Trauma can naturally stem from many places in our lives including loss, natural disaster, unwanted change, abuse, neglect, or exposure to violence.
